Nurture
Nature must be nurtured; confidence cultivated, respect learnt, a willing disposition earnt.
Early influences on a horse’s life shape its future. Foaling, early nutrition, and experiences in the stall and in the field, with horses and humans determine it’s future soundness and human relationships.
Livery
We encourage foals and youngsters to be kept as part of a herd whenever possible - this favours their overall wellbeing, physical and mental development.
Broodmares are also generally kept in herds depending on their temperament and inclination.
Manual Handling
From early handling such as halter training and farrier training, to their first free jumps in the ring a horses first experiences are important in forming its confidence, trust, discipline, respect and overall temperament.
We manually handle our youngsters in a way that prioritises their psychological development, and prepares them for a competitive career.
